White House Decries 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Photos Made Public

House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they labeled "troubling" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 issued later on Friday constitute a small number of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The shamed investor died by apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

Prominent Personalities in the Photos

Featured among the notable figures visible in the opening set are public figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

Administration Statement

The White House addressed the release in a statement, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"That partisan falsehood against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official stated, maintaining that "the current government has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging openness, making public thousands of pages of records, and demanding more inquiries into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Panel Member Comment

The images were published without context, but according to a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's connections to wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The disclosure of these documents occurs alongside the oversight committee continuing its probe into the Epstein matter.
